Legendary “golden age of film” actress Jane Powell :-* has passed away at the age of 92, reportedly from natural causes. :\'(

She starred in a number of MGM musicals including “Royal Wedding” and “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” during the 1940s and ’50s.
‘The blonde, blue-eyed Powell usually played characters with a gentle mischievous streak in her musical comedies, but she would shatter the light-hearted atmosphere of her films when she sang: A surprisingly powerful coloratura would emerge from the diminutive (5-foot-1) thespian.”

She'll be reunited with her "groom" in that movie Howard Keel. Good tidings to both.

She also played Jason Seaver's (Alan Thicke) mother on "Growing Pains".
