Legendary Kool & the Gang saxophonist and co-founder Dennis Thomas has passed away in his sleep at the age of 70. :\'(

In their heyday, KATG was a huge hit machine, with tunes like Get Down on It, Fresh, Jungle Boogie, and countless other tunes. Behind all of them was Dennis Thomas playing his awesome sax. 8)

I liked Kool and the Gang, especially watching them on Soul Train. Sad to say goodbye :\'( :\'( :\'(
