Legendary United Mineworkers president Richard Trumka died suddenly today from a heart attack at the age of 72.

I have a relative who used to work with Trumka back in the day. Claimed that he had dirt on Trumpka that would have ended his career. But he never played that card. :-X
My relative was on track to become UMWA president back then, but then catastrophe struck… he became a born-again Christian, which was pretty much inconsistent with an outfit like that! ;D So he withdrew from union matters.
