Dusty Hill, legendary bassist for ZZ Top, has passed away at the age of 72. :\'( :\'( :\'(

Dusty and ZZ Top were huge back in the day, with hits like Sharp Dressed Man, Legs, Tush, La Grange, and Pearl Necklace, just to name a few. 8)
So beloved was their music that a pantyhose manufacturer used the song Legs to hawk their product. 8)

ZZ Top ruled back in the day, I enjoyed just about all of their music videos. RIP Dusty Hill. :\'(

Me too. Loved his sound, he did a little extra to make up for being only a 3 piece band.

And they've already played their first post-Dusty gig, with their guitar tech, Elwood Francis, handling bass duties.
