Chi-town rapper KTS Dre (birth name Londre Sylvester) has been gunned down in Chicago just moments after he was released from the Cook County Jail. The attack is suspected to have been an ambush and not an accidental shooting.

Police report that he was shot 64 times. :o Damn…
An autopsy is scheduled to determine cause of death.

Turns out that “KTS” stood for “Kill to Survive” and he had a target tattooed on his neck.
He was in jail on a charge of felon-in-possession-of-weapon when he was let out on $50,000 bail. Since 2010, he had been thrown in prison four times for various offenses, and until the day of his shooting had been in police custody for a year. Definitely lived the rap…

Was a wild weekend in chi-town. 40 people were shot and 11 fatally. :o

More yet to the story. Dre’s brother, KTS Von was also gunned down back in 2015. And his father, Chicago East Side rap legend Big Vinny similarly was shot to death in 2016.
Sounds like those guys made some enemies along the way.

So far, no suspects have emerged in Dre’s slaying.
