Subject: Final Three Count for Tony Marino

Legendary Studio Wrestling great Tony Marino (born as Toni Silipini) has passed away at the age of 90. :\'(

Tony was one of the old-school wrestlers from the 60s and 70s, and for quite some time he was billed as “The Battman”, wearing a cape and mask during the Batman craze of the 1960s. Wresting great Bruno Sammartino brought Tony into the Pittsburgh Studio Wrestling franchise and they both proceeded to kick major butt in the ring every Saturday night. 8).
Every night, Ringside Rosie sat on the sidelines, cheering on the favorites, and shaking her rubber chicken at the villains. ;D Baseball hall of famer Pie Traynor spent the intermissions by hawking the services of a local heating and ventilation contractor, with his signature line “Who can? Ameri-can! American Plumbing & Heating.” 8) Horror movie empressario and Night of the Living Dead cast member “Chilly Billy” Bill Cardille called the action. 8)
Tony battled all the old-school greats in the ring. “Professor” Toru Tanaka, The Mongols (both of them), “Krippler Karl” Kovacs, Killer Tim Brooks, Abdullah the Butcher, and Killer Kowalski. Back in ‘71, he broke a leg whilst facing off against George “The Animal” Steele. :o
Tony battled in the ring when the wrestlers were real, unlike today’s wimps who have to pump steroids to perform.
R.I.P, Tony. :\'( Thanks for the countless Studio Wrestling memories. :)

Today's wrestling is so boring now as compared to wrestling back in the days.

Bruno Sammartino would wipe up the canvas with today’s WWF wimps.
