Legendary Virginia politician John Warner, equally famous for being Elizabeth Taylor’s sixth husband (or 7th, depending on how you count them), has passed away at the age of 94. :\'(

Liz and John got hitched in 1976, and the union lasted until 1982. Which by ET standards was pretty good. Warner was the last surviving former ex-husband of Liz.

Some younger people here may not know. Elizabeth Taylor was famous for her many marriages. Eight to be exact. She had eight marriages and seven husbands, having married Richard Burton twice. "Liz & Dick" were THE couple of the 60s.

John is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
