Johnny Crawford, celebrated child actor who was one of the legendary Mouseketeer cast, has laid down his Mickey Mouse ears for the last time, at the age of 75. :\'(

Johnny also played the son on the TV series The Rifleman alongside Chuck Connors, and also scored a few musical hits in his heyday. 8)

Sorry to hear this. As far as teen idol TV actors and actresses of that period who made records, he was one of the few who could actually sing! He also featured prominently in cult niche movie classics "Village of the Giants" and "The Naked Ape" in the 1960s and 70s.

He went on to do episodes of Branded with Chuck Connors, as well as Murder She Wrote, Hawaii Five-O, and Little House on the Prairie. Dude was all over television in his day. 8)
