Perhaps so, but both of them were shot and killed...whereas DMX had some sort of health issues. :\'(

Health issue was heart attack as a result of a drug overdose.

Probate of his will is going to prove interesting. 15 children... 9 mothers... and likely a treasure trove of basement tapes. People will be fighting over his estate for years.

I don't know that much about DMX's past but I know that he was a drug addict. I wonder when the last time was that he released a successful album?

Wikipedia reports that his last studio album, Undisputed, came out in 2012.
