I really didn't like Phyllis but when I saw her in the remake of It's A Wonderful Life, I thought she was a really good actress. Then there is Young Frankenstein and History of the World. "We are so poor, we don't even have a language. Only this stupid accent."
She really was a fabulous actress.

Let’s not forget perhaps her most memorable role, as the secretary to Warden Hazen in The Longest Yard, co-starring with Adam Sandler. 8)
