Subject: Hugh Keays-Byrne cuts his last toe

Two-time Mad Max villain Hugh Keays-Byrne has died at 73. He played the Toecutter in George Miller's inaugural dystopian road picture, and returned years later in Miller's Oscar-winning, critically-acclaimed masterpiece, Mad Max: Fury Road -- this time as Immortan Joe.

Originally British (born in India), Keays-Byrne toured Australia in a stage production of A Midsummer Night's Dream and decided to stay.

He also starred in The Man from Hong Hong, and another road movie called Stone.
