Storied Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Jack Sherman, who played on their debut album as well as composed a number of tunes on their follow-up, Freaky Styley, has passed away at the age of 64. :\'(

He’s the second RHCP guitarist to pass away; the first was Hilly Slovak back in ‘88. :-\\
