Subject: Frank Culotta Sleeps With the Fishes

Legendary Chicago Outfit mobster-turned-rat, Frank Culotta has passed away at the age of 81, after a life of crime, murder, and ratting out his buddies.

The name may not sound familiar, but he’s the guy who ratted out Tony “The Ant” Spilotro to the feds back in 1982. This brought so much heat on the mob that they whacked Spilotro and his brother Mickey, then dumped their bodies into a shallow grave in an Indiana corn field.
Tony Spilotro was the real-life person who was portrayed by Joe Pesci in the mob movie, Casino.
I always wondered why Culotta did not get whacked by the mob over his testimony against them. ???
Earlier in his career, Culotta killed a couple of chaps by sticking their heads in a vice and cranking down in the handle - hard.
