Subject: Final Answer: Regis Philbin Dead at 88
Written By: Sman12 on 07/25/20 at 3:24 pm
The legendary host Regis Philbin, who hosted shows from Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee (and then hosted Live with Kelly Ripa) to the original Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, died or natural causes this morning at the age of 88. I really enjoyed his humor and kindness on screen, and it's sad that he's gone. RIP.

BMTI both the story and the pun.
An icon of my childhood. My grandmother and I loved watching Millionaire together. I'm so glad he got to live long enough to pass the torch to Jimmy Kimmel, who did a commendable job with his reboot.
RIP Regis :\'(

I just now found this out. What a great personality he was, both as a talk show host and a game show host. :\'(

I just saw on the news that Mr. Philbin passed due to heart disease. Fortunately he did not contract COVID-19.

Fortunately it was.
Though I never could imagine it happening, Regis was in bed asleep when he ran out of lifelines.
Your Pal,
Doc
