Yeoman guitarist Jesse Willard "Pete" Carr, possibly best known for his part in the 70s duo LeBlanc & Carr, has passed away at the age of 70 due to Parkinsonism. :\'(

LeBlanc & Carr were famous for their schmaltzy 1978 single, Falling, but Carr also played guitar as part of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, on singles such as Paul Simon’s “Kodachrome”, Bob Seger’s “Against the Wind”, and Rod Stewart’s “Tonight’s the Night”. Dude was huge in his day, the classic session player that people knew as “that guy... who played in that thing...”
