Legendary banjo player Eric Weissberg has passed away at the age of 80. :\'(

Mr. Weissberg is probably most famous for his instrumental rendition of Dueling Banjos in the 1970s movie, Deliverance. Thanks to that movie and the banjo scene, a buddy of mine was not allowed to participate in a wilderness canoe trip that I took. ;D

I am sadden by this news, for "Dueling Banjos" is one of my favourite instrumentals.
