This leaves Colleen Townsend as the only surviving cast member of the classic movie The Walls of Jericho. :-\\

He lived a lot longer than Mike Douglas did, who was only 86 when he passed away.

I learned something about him the other day. He was Jewish and changed his name. When he was attending the American Academy of Dramatics Arts (a school that my mother attended), he dated Jewish girl who also changed her name-to Lauren Becall.

Nope. Never knew Lauren Bacall was Jewish, either. I was actually looking up that there are A LOT of Jews in Hollywood.

Wow, your Jewdar needs to get recalibrated. (I say that with no malice to you or Jewish people).
I, on the other hand, wondered how a Jewish dude had a last name of Douglas, until I learned his real name was Issur Danielovitch. ;D

I don't really have a "Jewdar" because I don't really look for it.
Oh, I also happen to be half Jewish.

I don't understand but having someone as old as Kirk Douglas accepting an award at 100 years of age just doesn't feel right, he suffered a stroke and he hardly couldn't speak well, but I guess they wanted him out there for legendary status.

Distinguishing a long and well respected acting career.

About 10 years ago, in the middle of a tough negotiation, the guy on the other side asked “LyricBoy, are you JEWISH”?
Sensing opportunity, I replied “Just on my mother’s side.” He turned red faced and I pretty much owned him for the rest of the negotiation. ;D
Of course I am 98% Celtic and maybe 2% Italian ancestry, but I didn’t tell him that. ;D
