The medical examiner has not yet weighed in, but Juice was one of those rappers who promoted the consumption of Sizzurp, also known as Purple Drank, Lean, or Texas Tea. Back in July he swore off the stuff, but given that he died from a seizure (which is a principal way how you can die form a Sizzurp overdose), you can be assured that the Cook County Coroner will be looking for traces of codeine or promethazine in Juice’s toxicology tests.  :-\\

Yeah, I couldn't tell who was being referred to, either, simply as "Juice." Although some people do go by mononyms (that is, single-word monikers).

TMZ is reporting that Juice was popping pills (likely Percocet) on his private jet flight into Midway prior to his seizures.

Additionally, the FBI confiscated seventy pounds :o of weed from the plane. Damn, that must have been one heck of a party plane.

And tellingly they also pulled a bottle of codeine cough syrup from the plane.  :-\\

The Cook County Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy today, so eventually we’ll learn more about the cause of death.

Apparently the private jet’s crew alerted the cops during the flight, that the plane was laden with guns, weed, and dope. The cops were waiting on the tarmac.

Article goes on to say that Juice gobbled down the Percocets so the cops couldn’t find them. BIG MISTAKE. the cops administered Narcan no no avail.

His death was the result of oxycodone and codeine overdose.

Juice was a big user of purple drank, which is a concoction made of codeine/promethazine cough syrup, Mountain Dew, and Jolly Ranchers.  Taking that with oxy was a bad move.  :-\\
