Veteran soap opera fixture William Wintersole has passed away at the age of 88. :\'(

Wintersole played the role of Mitchell Herman on The Young & the Restless from 1986 thru 2011, and previously he was a regular on General Hospital.
But he was no stranger to prime time either. In addition to being on Y&R and GH, he was also seen on series fare such as I Dream of Jeannie, Kojak, Little House on the Prairie, Quincy, Bonanza, Star Trek, And The Fugitive. 8)
