Russi Taylor -- who voiced such characters as Minnie Mouse, Huey, Duey, Louie, Webbigale Vanderquack, Martin Price, Uter, Strawberry Shortcake, Muppet Baby Gonzo, and Pebbles Flintstone -- has died at the age of 75.
Not only was she the voice of Minnie, but she was also the real-life wife of the late Wayne Allwine.
If you were a kid in the 80s or 90s, Russi Taylor likely provided a voice in at least one cartoon you watched. RIP.

I didn’t know the voice of Sherri and Terri on “The Simpsons” was also doing voice work for Webby Vanderquack on “Ducktales”. Hair bow connection!

Russi Taylor in a better place now. That’s all that matters!

I hadn't realized she voiced all those characters, either. (Including the aforementioned male ones.)

She was the voice of Widget from “Widget the World Watcher”. Most Millennials passed over “Widget” for “Captain Planet and the Planeteers” in the early and mid 90s, but “Widget” was more recognizable as an early 90s cartoon.

(There was a Robocop inspired costume for this show.)
So, basically, Russi’s greatest voice work in the 90s was for “The Simpsons”.

I heard of the animated program Widget, but never watched it.
I am, however, familiar with Captain Planet & the Planeteers, which was on the air in the early 90's.

I watched it one afternoon in ‘92 or ‘93. Never cared for it. Same preachy “Save the Earth” message that was in almost all new early to mid 90s cartoons.
