Celebrity accused murderer Claus von Bülow died on May 25th at the age of 92. Don’t know how I missed this one. Must have been off my game that day.

Von Bülow was accused and convicted of giving his wife, Sunny Von Bülow, a hot shot of insulin in 1980. She laid in a coma until 2008 when she finally passed away.
After his first conviction, Claus hired “Dream Team” lawyer Allen Dershowitz, who later went on to get OJ Simpson off the hook for the near-decapitation of his wife Nicole Brown-Simpson. Like OJ, Claus’ case involved an almost insurmountable amount of evidence pointing to Claus’ guilt, but the jury went easy on him.
Like OJ, after the retrial/acquittal, he was sued by Sunny’s family for something like $56MM. In the settlement he renounced inheritance rights to any of Sunny’s money, and was forced to leave the country.
