Subject: Last Block of Cheese for “Little Al” D’Arco

Famed New York Lucchese mob rat informant Alphonse “Little Al” D’Arco has passed away (whilst hiding out in the witness protection program) at the age of 86 from a kidney disorder.

Al was the guy who took over the operation of Paulie Vario of “Goodfellas” fame, after Henry Hill ratted out Paulie and Jimmy “the Gent” Burke. Unsatisfied with Paulie’s job, Al later in 1991 decided to turn rat, and inform on legendary mobsters such as Vinny “the Chin” Gigante, and “Gaspipe” Gasso, just to name a few. :-X
There used to be a time when mobsters settled their scores amongst themselves and would never consider ratting out their compatriots. “Never rat on your friends and keep your mouth shut” was the primary rule. Nowadays these guys think nothing of informing.
A price was on his head ever since.
