Legendary Chicago Blackhawks hockey stickman Stanislav "Stosh" Mikita has passed away all too soon, at the age of 78, after a three year match against Lewy body dementia. :\'(

Stosh played for the Chicago Blackhawks for 22 years, from 1958 through 1980. :o At one time he was the leading all time scorer in the NHL, and currently ranks an impressive #2. He holds the record for the most games played at 1,394. He was voted the league's MVP twice, and was instrumental in the Blackhawks' 1961 Stanley Cup victory. 8)
