Subject: Chapter Two for Aum Shinrikyo Cult

A few weeks ago, seven members of the legendary Aum Shinrikyo cult in Japan were executed by hanging, for their involvement in a sarin gas attack back in '95, upon the Japanese subway system.
Apparently the Japanese authorities found some more rope. Executed today were the remaining six cult members who had been condemned.

Inasmuch as this was a "doomsday cult", it seems that they have had their day in the sun.
Capital punishment in Japan is a rather curious process. There are no declarations or scheduled execution dates. You get sentenced, and then one day somebody simply knocks on your cell door with a rope in their hand. So you have no way to get ready or to "plan", and never know if today will be your last. Much better system than what we have here in the US of A.
