Milos Forman -- director of such classics as One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Amadeus, The People vs. Larry Flynt, and Man on the Moon -- has died after a short illness. He was 86.
His films gave Oscars to Jack Nicholson, Louise Fletcher, and F. Murray Abraham -- and nominations to future Chucky Brad Dourif, Tom Hulce and Woody Harrelson.
Forman himself won two Oscars, for Cuckoo's Nest and Amadeus.
