Jon Paul Steuer, a child actor of the 1990s, passed away on January 1. He was 33.
Steuer played a young Klingon on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" as well as the oldest son of Brett Butler's starring character on "Grace Under Fire."
After three seasons with "Grace Under Fire," he departed the show with plans to continue acting in Hollywood. However, he became deterred when casting agents bombarded him with questions about Butler's reported erratic on-set behavior.
He also sang in a band called P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S. No cause of death given.
First celebrity/notable death of the year. :(

His performances on STTNG were legendary.

According to the IMDB, they're calling his death a "suicide!" But I don't ever believe anything that's written on there until I hear it from a more reliable source.
