Legendary actor John Hillerman, well known for playing the role of long-suffering Jonathan Higgins in the TV classic Magnum, P.I., has passed away at the age of 84. :\'(

Prior to his role in Magnum, Hillerman also had a prominent role as one of the townspeople in High Plains Drifter as well as the comedy classic, Blazing Saddles.

I never actually watched a full episode of the show, but I know the theme song quite well. :D
