News wires are reporting that legendary and charismatic TV actor, Robert Guillaume, probably best known for his portrayal of the title character in the TV series Benson, has been taken away all too soon. :\'(

It is reported that he had been suffering from prostate cancer in the past few years.

I liked him as Benson too, kinda weird that just last year we also lost the man who played Governor Gatling. I hope they're sharing laughs tonight.

So sad, in the past I did see some episodes of "Benson", the show seemed to be popular then, and I can imagine he was liked by all.

I remember a Christmas ep of Benson where they were singing carols. Then he started singing O Holy Night that blew me away. I found this on YouTube yesterday:

I liked him in Benson, he also played a college professor in Saved By The Bell. :\'(
