Subject: Molly Hatchet's Dave Hlubek Sets Down His Axe...

Dave Hlubek, lead guitarist and co-founder of the mainly 70's Southern Rock band Molly Hatchet, passed away yesterday (9-3-2017) at the age of 66, from a heart attack. Hlubek was co-writer of hits like "Flirtin' With Disaster", "Gator Country", and "Whiskey Man".

After leaving the band in 1986 due to a raging drug abuse problem, he went on to score movie sound tracks for fare as diverse as Monster and The Dukes of Hazzard. 8)
