According to TMZ, Moran’s body was found unresponsive Saturday afternoon by authorities in Indiana. The cause of death is unknown.

In 2012, Moran and three of her “Happy Days” co-stars – Williams, Marion Ross, Don Most and the widow of Tom Bosley – sued CBS for $10 million, claiming they never received merchandise royalties they were owed under their contracts. The case was later settled out of court. Neither Henry Winkly (sic), who famously starred as the Fonz on the show, nor Ron Howard were part of the lawsuit.

Apparently she had been living hard. A few years back she and her husband were kicked out of an Indiana trailer park (by her mother in law) due to incessant partying. Cause of death is likely due to overindulging in substances, or the cumulative effect of same.

I'm afraid with the passing of Erin Moran, along with the prior passing of Pat Morita (Arnold), Al Molinaro (Big Al), Heather O'Rourke (Heather Pfister), Ed Peck (Officer Kirk), and Tom Bosley (Mr Cunningham) it is unlikely that we'll see another Happy Days reunion project.

I wish they had done one, maybe it could have rebooted Erin's career.  :-\\

I'm guessing she died from lung cancer since she became a heavy smoker.  :\'(

She's the 4th member of the Happy Days cast to pass away.  That just leaves Marrion Ross, Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Anson Williams, Donnie Most, and Scott Baio.

However he did not mention what type of cancer.  :-\\
