Legendary New Orleans Jazz clarinetist Pete Fountain has passed away at the age of 86 whilst in hospice care.

Pete was renowned for his prolific appearances on TV, including 50+ spots on the Johnny Carson Show. And he was a fixture in the New Orleans Jazz scene.

2016's assault on musicians is showing no signs of abatement. :\'(
