R.I.P. Bernie Worrell
I too am saddened. Not a Parliament fan, but I knew Bernie's sound from his work in the 80's with Talking Heads(primarily on the Remain In Light and Speaking In Tongues albums), and couldn't help noticing him backing up Meryl Streep last year in the hit film "Ricki And The Flash".
The music world lost a great contributor today. Sometimes, accompaniment can be the greatest gift one has to give.
Your Pal,
Doc
