Subject: Doris Roberts Passes Away

Legendary comedic actress Doris Roberts passed away yesterday at the age of 90. Amongst other roles, she played the mother-in-law on "Everybody Loves Raymond".

At this point I have not seen anything that indicates why she would have died. :-\\

Yeah, she was great as Ray's mother on ELR. Peter Boyle, who played her hubby on that show, checked out almost ten years ago.
She also guest-starred on a third-season episode of Full House as Danny's mother.

It's sad enough that my favorite people are dying in this decade, not just 2016. With all due respect, I'm sorry for your loss.

I never really watched "Everybody Loves Raymond." Whenever I see her, I will always think of a forgotten show called Angie. The show & especially the theme song had a significant place in my life at the time.

Well, the actor who played his father on ELR, Peter Boyle, passed away almost 10 years ago. :\'(

Looks like Raymond is another one of those shows with a death curse upon its cast. Doris is the third main cast member to take a final bow, even though it has not been that long since the show was on. At this point I guess there won't be any chance for a reunion show. :-\\
