Legendary TV actor ans SAG-AFTRA president Ken Howard is reported to have passed away at the age of 71.

Ken made his mark as the star of "The White Shadow", a smash hit TV series from 1978 thru 1981.
Point of Trivia: one of his ex-wives, Margo, was the daughter of Ann Landers.

The classic TV Universe has lost another one after Larry Drake and Joe Santos (The Rockford Files). Hopefully, The White Shadow will live on DVD. RIP Ken.

Stars have been tribute to the Emmy and Tony-winning actor Ken Howard who has died aged 71. The actor, who appeared most recently in 30 Rock, was president of the US acting union SAG-AFTRA. George Clooney, a fan of Howard's work in US sports drama The White Shadow, released a statement about his death, recalling how he had met him early in his career. The pair eventually worked together on the 2007 legal drama Michael Clayton.
