Subject: Wonderful Life singer Colin Vearncombe dies following car crash
Written By: Philip Eno on 01/26/16 at 1:16 pm
Singer-songwriter Colin Vearncombe, best known for the Black hit Wonderful Life, has died following a car crash in Cork.
The star, who achieved his most success in the 1980s and has sold more than 2 million albums worldwide, was driving home on January 10th when he was involved in a collison that left him with serious head injuries which led to him being induced into a coma.
A post to his Facebook page read: ‘Colin Vearncombe. 26/5/1962 – 26/1/2016. You’ll never walk alone.’
Previously, the same page had warned fans that things ‘weren’t looking good’ following a brain scan carried out on the singer on Friday.
Vearncombe was due to become a grandfather for the first time later this Spring.
As well as releasing many albums, he also spent time on poetry and art.
A full statement is expected to follow shortly on his official Facebook page.

I see you also made a corresponding entry in the "Celebrities who died in accidents" thread.
Good form. You'd make a fair accountant. 8)
