This one makes me sad. I had the privilege to see him play in the '70s along with Curly Neil. It was my 13th (?) birthday present-my mother (or sisters) bought me tickets to go see them. I had the chance to see them again about a decade later but Meadowlark was no longer with them and I didn't want to see them. It wasn't the same without him.

RIP Meadowlark ... He was a true giant of the game. Even though he didn't play professional basketball, he was still Wilt Chamberlain's pick for greatest ever.

Meadowlark Lemon rocked. He was (and still is) synonymous with The Harlem Globetrotters and the idea of good, clean, family fun.
I imagine they'll play a rendition of "Sweet Georgia Brown" at his funeral procession.
RIP Meadowlark. :\'(. Thanks for all the fun times. :)
