Kathleen Kennedy has confirmed that neither Jar Jar Binks nor the Ewoks will appear in The Force Awakens. Concerning the former, Thank God. As for the latter, meh.
It's about time that stupid character got killed off.

Actually everyone in The Phantom Menace was quite annoying, especially Young Anakin. Jar Jar, you,ll be missed by someone. ::)

I had to read up on this right quick. Wiki said Michael Jackson was supposed to play him but disagreed on the way the character should be made (Michael wanted to wear a real costume, George Lucas wanted to use CGI. George Lucas won) I might have actually watched the film if Michael had been in it. LMAO
I've never seen any of the Star Wars films completely. I tried to watch the first one and kind of left. LOL ;D
But RIP to Mr. Binks. :)

For some weird reason I could never see Michael playing Jar Jar Binks. But he did wear some really crazy costumes such as:
