When did Frank do sportscasting? I really don't know that much about him.

Hank Williams immortalized Frank's broadcasting status in his Monday Night Football theme...
Everybody's a fan
Hey, this is the biggest party, man
We got Frank and Al and Dan
To get this thing started
Week after week it's the time that is right
All my rowdy friends are here for Monday Night.

Yep, he was one of their main announcers. He also played in the NFL in his earlier adult years.

Wow, I'm surprised that you actually know about him, even though you were a toddler at the last time he did a sportscast.

Well, memories do go as far as 98 so... and he also made a few appearances after to visit! Being married to Kathie lee and Mom always telling me how she loved him when she was a kid also made my knowledge of Frank even greater!

I suppose that Frank Gifford, "Dandy" Don Meredith, and the inimitable Howard Cosell are calling the play-by-play in heaven now. :)
