Written By: LyricBoy on 07/25/15 at 7:40 am
Legendary Southern rhythm lyricist Perry Carlton "Buddy" Buie has passed away at the age of 74 in Dothan Alabama, of a heart attack on July 18, 2015.
His name may not be familiar but the songs he penned likely are. He worked with the Classics IV and the Atlanta Rhythm Section, writing classics such as:
Spooky
Stormy
Traces (of Love)
So Into You
Champagne Jam
Do it or Die
Imaginary Lover
His songs were always that smooooooooooooth Southern rhythm sound.
RIP Buddy. :\'( We were all So Into Your music. :)
