Subject: Goonies actress Mary Ellen Trainor dies at 62

Sad news of the death of character actress Mary Ellen Trainor. She starred in some of the biggest films of the 1980s, including a police psychiatrist in Mel Gibson's Lethal Weapon films and its sequels, a television reporter in Die Hard and Mrs Walsh - the mother of two main characters in The Goonies. She also had a part in Ghostbusters II.
Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy confirmed on Monday the actress died at her home in Montecito, California, on 20 May. She was 62.
Trainor was married to Hollywood director Robert Zemeckis, who cast Trainor in her first film, Romancing the Stone, as the kidnapped sister of Kathleen Turner's character.
The pair divorced in 2000. They had one child together, Alex Zemeckis. A memorial service will be held on 19 June in Montecito.
