Subject: John Forbes Nash Passes Away in Taxi Crash

Mathematician John Forbes Nash Jr., famous for winning the 1994 Nobel Prize for Economics, as well as the flick made about his life, 2001's "A Beautiful Mind", died yesterday in a taxicab crash in Jersey.

Nash's wife Alicia (played by Jennifer Connelly in the movie) also died in the crash. Both Nashes were ejected from the taxi.

I have to differentiate Russell Crowe and the real guy though.

Still, 86 is a good long life. Do taxis(depending on the company) even HAVE seat belts? I've heard some of the older ones have no airbags.
If I read the news story right this morning, Russell Crowe(who met Nash while preparing for A Beautiful Mind, was the first to get on Twitter and offer condolences to the family. Now that's decent of him, but all those who knew the Nashes truly lost friends.
