Beat me to it. And I was gonna simply title mine "The Thrill is Gone."
There were three Kings of the Blues: Albert, Freddy, and B.B.
B.B. outlived every original blues great:
Albert King (no relation)
Freddie King (no relation)
Willie Dixon
Muddy Waters
Howling Wolf
Robert Johnson
Blind Lemon Jefferson
Memphis Minnie
Kansas Joe McCoy
He even outlived latter-day blues-rock great Stevie Ray Vaughan.

How in the world did these two greats (from different musical worlds!) join forces? :o
RIP B.B.

B.B. King mentored every blues singer/guitarist from Eric Clapton to Crystal Bowersox(American Idol). Lucille, following King's funeral, will probably take her rightful place at the Rock & Roll or Blues Hall Of Fame. With the legacy he has left us, "The Thrill" will never be truly gone! May God have mercy on the soul his music bore to us all.
Your Pal,
Doc

A murder investigation has been launched into the death of blues legend BB King after two of his daughters claimed he was poisoned.
Karen Williams and Patty King said the musician was given "foreign substances to induce his premature death" by his business manager Laverne Toney.
Lawyers for King's estate said the claims are unfounded and disrespectful.
But the possibility of homicide will now be investigated by the coroner and police in Nevada.

Blues legend BB King died of natural causes primarily stemming from Alzheimer's disease, the Las Vegas coroner's office has confirmed. King's death was also attributed to coronary artery disease, diabetes, heart failure, high blood pressure and brain damage from low blood flow. Two of his daughters had alleged King was poisoned by long-time associates. "We can say with confidence that Mr King died of natural causes," said Clark County coroner, John Fudenberg.
