Ellen Albertini Dow, who gained a bit of fame as the woman who performed "Rapper's Delight" in the movie The Wedding Singer, has passed away.

No word as to the cause of death though. :-\\

After The Wedding Singer, Ms. Dow got roles in some other shows including Seinfeld. But it seemed that she was always being type-cast as an elderly person.

I think we can attribute it to old age. She was 101, just never acted that way!
