Subject: Richard L. Bare, "Green Acres" Director

TV sitcom director Richard L. Bare has passed away. He actually passed a week or so ago, but his family just announced it on Friday.
If his name sounds familiar, it is because it always rolled on the credits to popular fare such as "Petticoat Junction" (48 episodes) and "Green Acres" (166 episodes) back when CBS was derided as being "The Hillbilly Network", all the while beating out the other networks in the ratings. ;D

There has been no report as to the cause of death. He had been working on a revival of Green Acres.
