Legendary NBC announcer Gary Owens, famous for his role as voice-over dude for the 60's offbeat comedy variety show Rowan and Martin's Laugh In, has passed away at the age of 80. :\'(

Do you suppose at the Pearly Gates, the rest of the cast who's left us(Henry Gibson, Sammy Davis, Alan Seuss, etc.), Gary looked at them and asked, "They socked it to ME?"?
Very few of the players are left, (Lily Tomlin, Jo Ann Worley, Arte Johnson), but I'd bet my sweet bippy that Goldie Hawn will be the final survivor.

Yeah it seems like there was a curse on the Laugh-In cast.

How can you say there was a curse when Gary Owens was 80, Dick Martin was 86, Henry gibson was 73, Alan Sues was 85. The ones who are still alive are getting up there in years, too. They died because they were old-not because of a curse.
