Subject: Ed Sabol, "Mister NFL Films" Passes Away

Ed Sabol, the founder of the NFL Films franchise, passed away today at his home in Scottsdale AZ, all too soon .

Ed retired early back in 1995 and passed the torch to his son Steve, who passed away a couple of years ago. If you've ever watched a grainy NFL highlights film, chances are, the Sabols produced it. 8)
