Ralph Baer invented the Brown Box in the 1960s, which became the Magnavox Odyssey in 1972. This newfangled gizmo actually predates Atari and Pong(!)... let alone Nintendo.

His legacy was impressive to say the least.

The most impressive thing was that he never stopped tinkering, even into his 90s.

Max Baer has been deceased for 55 years.
I meant Max Baers's son, Max Baer Jr., the dude who played the sheriff in Macon County Line.
