Marcia Strassman, who played the wife of Mr. Kotter in the legendary 1970's sitcom Welcome Back Kotter, has passed away at the age of 66, aftera long battle with cancer.

Oh wow! That just leaves Gabe Kaplin and Lawrence Hilton Jacobs as the only cast members of Welcome Back Kotter left. :P That sucks.

Well John Travolta is still with us. But yeah, WBK is one of those shows that seemed to have a curse on its cast members. :-\\

I saw the first episode on tv just a week or 2 ago. I recoginised her as well. She was really good in WBK (one of my favourite 70's shows).

I suppose with Dr. Henry Blake already dead, no one could bring her back this time, no matter how bravely Trapper John could fight for her. Hawkeye once asked her "What're you doing after the war?" but she never told him about marrying Mr. Kotter or having three kids with a nutty Professor! You will be missed, Marcia.
