He suffered a heart attack a few days ago and never recovered, and passed away yesterday afternoon at the age of 88.
arguable one the greatest players of his time he represented his native Argentina,Colombia and also the Spanish national team in the 1950s and 60's and was a hero at his club of noted success Real Madrid.
RIP Alfredo.
