Subject: Actor Bob Hoskins Dies From Pneumonia Aged 71

British actor Bob Hoskins has died from pneumonia at the age of 71, his agent has said.
The star was best known for hit movies including Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Mona Lisa, for which he won Bafta and Golden Globe best actor awards.
Hoskins, who was born in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, suffered from Parkinson's disease in the later years of his life and retired from acting in 2012.

A profound shame - as well as a versatile actor, he was (to all intents and purposes) a real, genuine guy...
Our overseas chums will probably not have seen it (and there's nothing on YouTube either), but I first came across him on an adult education TV show called 'On The Move' (prior to his break in 'The Long Good Friday') - I don't think anyone could ever have guessed he would scale such dizzy heights way back then! RIP, Bob...

One of my favourite Bob Hoskins movies was called Heart Condition and I also really liked him in Unleashed. R.I.P. to a great actor :(

Who Framed Roger Rabbit was a favorite film of mine. He always made his voice sound like a regular guy even though he was British. RIP Bob Hoskins. :\'(
